"I transferred my pension, now I have my money in one place"

I wanted to try investing, so I downloaded Beach as it seemed like an easy way to get started, and the investments were managed by experts at BlackRock. I don’t know much about investing but I had heard of them. I wouldn’t know where to start managing my own investments, and I didn’t really see the need when the experts can do it for you.

It couldn’t have been easier, you basically just add money. I save every month now, and adding money is super simple. The app shows you how much you've made and your current balance, so it feels more like a savings account with my bank. I love how the app looks and feels, it’s simple in a good way, and it’s friendly and warm.

Recently I thought it would be great to have my old work pension in the app too, so I can see my retirement savings at the same time as my investing balance, and have all my money in one place. So I requested a transfer within the app, which was really easy to do, and my pension was transferred over after a few weeks.

I’m very happy I did as it’s increased since transferring, and my balance doesn’t seem to fluctuate up and down as much as my old pension did, it’s steadily grown. Although I have been told to expect ups and downs.

Overall, it’s great, and I’d recommend anyone looking to start investing to give Beach a go. It really couldn’t be easier.
