ESG

What does ESG mean?

Investments are selected using a popular framework for assessing the impact and standards of an organisation, called ESG, which stands for environmental, social and governance.

  • Environment (e.g. the climate, pollution and waste)
  • Social (the people in the world)
  • Governance (how businesses operate)

Together, these are often referred to as ESG, or sustainable investing.
